The $50 Lesson
I recently asked my friends' little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?' She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.'
Her parents beamed with pride.
"Wow...what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, ' Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50? '
I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'
Her parents still aren't speaking to me.

I was born and grew up in Hamilton, Oh. A small city just north of Cincinnati I’ve seen most of America on the back of my fathers Goldwing motorcycle, And myself driving across The States from Virginia to California, Florida to Michigan. I’ve only lived in a few places other than Ohio until now. I’m currently living in The United Arab Emirates.
I’ve lived in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai. In the time I’ve lived here I’ve met many people from all over the world, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, The Philippines, Syria, Russia, Jordan and many others. I’ve had some serious and not so serious discussions with a lot of people. What I have learned is really amazing to me to hear from people I have been told by the media in America that hate America in actuality love America and want to go and be American. They love everything about America most non-Arabs like George Bush, Muslims and Christians alike.

How can this be?? Most people like George Bush because of his resolve and honesty.
This information is incredible. One thing I know from speaking to all these people is Men and women don’t make war politicians do. And all the poor countries in the world are poor because of corrupt governments. I was talking with a Bengali man the other day
And he was telling me about a book he read about George Washington. He told a story that I had not heard, About a President standing at his door seeing a farmer with an ox and cart not able to make it through the mud, A soldier standing outside the fence refused to help this farmer, But President Washington went out in the mud and helped the farmer push the cart through the mud. He could not believe this. I told him that in America the country was ran by ordinary people. Every citizen in America has the opportunity to be president. He found this peculiar because the rich and noble ran his country.

He also told me how he admired Americans for sending so much money to Bangladesh after the tsunami, however the people never received this money because the rich leaders kept it. He didn’t blame America, He blame his corrupt government.

I hear stories like these on a weekly basis. And really feel sorry for people that have to move to a foreign country to make $180 a month and live with 5 other people in one room.

Everyone I have met and spoke to wants to go to America and I tell him or her, “no don’t go the government is corrupt there to. Wait a few years till the American people wake up and figure out that the country is in trouble”

"Sarah Palin", Who is she, i think she is a regular person in an extraordinary country. she has lived a wonderful life of an American dream. she is not a silver spoon or trust fund baby like so many of the elitist left, or the country club right she is one of us. some one trying to make a difference.i haven't done a whole lot of research on this subject, however i do read quite a bit. i really believe gov. Palin is just the shot in the arm this country needs she didn't go to haavaad or stanford but she is a very smart woman. she has conviction in her actions and is consistant. she believes in America and the people, And their ability to do for themselves and not rely on the government to support them. I have great respect for this woman and believe she can make this country great once again. She is not power hungry, if that was the case she could have grown the alaskan government ten fold, but gave the inheritance of the oil companies to the people, just like it should be the power of the United states is in the individual not the collective.

i'm just a regular Jim, I as an American understand the game of King of the mountain. the game where the person on the top is knocked off my the others trying to get on top.

i can't take it anymore

They went to far this time, B.O. and his minions have done it. they are preparing for a revolution to fudementaly change the united states for the worse. i will not stand by and take this, i have no power, i have no support just a keyboard and some thoughts. the new diversity czar mark llyod is a commie bastard, jeff jones, ccommie leader of the weather underground you remember "terrorist", van jones community organizer. these people know nothing about american values. i'm sick to death. this is appauling how can this happen. the leader of the free world is not american. i'm not a birther however his formitable years were spent in indonesia what does he know about america so what he organized a community in chicago for what? to have the highest black on black murder rate in the u.s. think about that his new green jobs czar did such a good job stopping violence in oakland he moved to d.c. to advise the pres. about green collar jobs. what??? these are the people that are running the country, and it is frightening

Well here we are 100 days of the nobama catastrophe and I listening to this white house correspondents dinner what a crock sounded like racists haters and homophobes these democrats just have no idea they sound exactly like the people they seem to hate. Hey I have a joke for you “Wanda Sykes” ha ha she actually said my man Rush was one of the 911 terrorists he just missed the plane because he was on drugs. This is unreal. I’m so tired of hearing. Well if a republican said /or did that you would here all about it. It sickens me. The Democratic Party is made up of douche bags and losers of life’s lottery. They hate and whine and whine and hate they have no idea what it takes to excel
And they hate those that do. They project their behavior on others as cover so they sound reasonable. But I’m not buying. Obama said “everyone there voted for him except the Fox news table. This kind of information should be unattainable but it is out there like the new logos themselves. Take a look at Venezuela the first thing football head Chavez did was to nationalize the press. Good job. He wanted to have control of what people read, And believed. People in the United States have grown complacent with the news media. They have not been neutral since Kennedy. Who if anyone remembers was more a republican than democrat but you will never hear that from your friendly democrat because they don’t exist. It’s about time all right of center dialogues start with defining democrats they seem to always want to define us. So let’s say it they the left are mean, hateful, godless baby killers. Period if you don’t like it. To bad you need to reevaluate your position. If you believe in god, you can’t support killing defenseless babies in the womb stop calling people names. Just stop. Stop blaming America for your problems; it’s your own damn fault.
